Having spent the final few months of the summer developing, and subsequently ordering, a brand new range of products to reflect the upcoming trends of the Autumn/Winter 2012, the Hole in the Wall Team finally start to take delivery of the fresh new designs!

On Saturday 30th June 2012 Hole in the Wall Curtains were part of historic moment, an estimated 50,000 people descended on their hometown of Walsall to line the streets in the hope of catching a glimpse of the Olympic Torch on day 43 of its relay.

The Clarke and Clarke ‘Best Dressed Window’ Competition…

The challenge has been set… Clark and Clark, one of the fabric industry’s leading suppliers, are currently running a competition for the ‘Best Dressed Window’. So, not being one to turn down a challenge, we have decided to enter!

Once completed the window will be dressed with a flat pelmet, roman blind, curtains and tiebacks all of which will be custom made in our own onsite workroom. The coordinating fabrics used to create our ‘masterpiece’ will be taken from the Clark and Clark Maritime collection, here’s a little bit more about the range:

Every year April 2nd marks a landmark for the Hole in the Wall Curtains team, as 8 years ago to the day a huge fire threatened our stores continued existence.

Events of the blaze were covered by newspaper reporters and televisions crews from across the Midlands, making the story big local news. The following BBC report taken at the time of the fire helps describe the severity of the situation:
